Both Gregory D. Erdmann, 26, and Alice Ann Barnes, 25, were sentenced for their roles in spray painting gibberish on the famed building designed by Santiago Calatrava.
Both were granted work-release privileges and ordered to perform 150 hours of community service that involved cleaning up graffiti.
The couple wrote weird gibberish on the gleaming white exterior of what has become one of Wisconsin's most iconic buildings.
A third individual arrested in May after the incident was never charged.
