The most serious charge, battery to a law enforcement officer, accuses John A. Edget of picking up Milwaukee County Sheriff's Deputy Scott Woida on Thursday and throwing him to the floor as he tried to arrest Edget after a disturbance that began in a courtroom and spilled into a sixth-floor hallway.

Woida said his upper left thigh was hurt in the altercation, the complaint says.
