With guest appearances from the likes of Eddie Vedder, Pavement's Steven Malkamus, Evan Dando of the Lemonheads, Sonic Youth, and the Beastie Boys, it would seem that the music world stopped dead in its tracks to work on the record. Each track finds a different cast of characters backing the bass juggernaut, resulting in 17 distinctive cuts of inspired post-punk pandemonium.

Watt himself only takes the lead on four songs, opting to hang in the shadows. But while he may be the quietest man on the mic, his stunning bass playing dominates the record from start to finish, proving yet again that often times music speaks volumes over words.
