You ain't hittin' on nothing! The last thing the Detroit Cobras are is a cover band. I know this can be confusing because they do turn non-hits from the 50s, 60s, etc. into something larger-than-life. Cover band? Come on! I think the cover band categorization to most fans means something like a wedding band, so don't do that to a band like the Detroit Cobras.

P.S. For the record, "Hittin' on Nothing" is a great Detroit Cobras tune.
