Well, summer is officially over! The first week of classes, work, assignments, and of course social outings can be a daunting thing, and looking good without trying too hard can sometimes be a difficult task. People like to be comfortable and casual but still put in a little effort and with this beautiful (but slightly uncomfortable weather) keeping cool and fresh is a challenge. Shorts are obviously great for the summer heat. You can dress them up with chiffon tops or crop tanks or you can keep them casual with tank tops, muscle tees, or a simple v-neck. You can also change it up with your shorts. Running shorts are great and comfy, but if you want to stand out you can try bold patterns, colors, or even materials. Leather, corduroy, or lace material shorts are super cute and add a nice touch to any simple outfit. Just slip some sandals on and your outfit is complete. Jewelry is another quick fix that can spice up any outfit. People tend to notice big statement pieces first off when seeing you, so adding a nice chunky bracelet or bold necklace can make a great first impression. I love accessories because I can wear what I originally planned but switch up the look with the quickest addition. The first week can be a time to test out different combinations and try new things, so don’t be nervous or scared to go outside the box. Have fun with it! Have a great first week Golden Eagles and keep it classy! Here’s some inspiration!
