The comeback of overals and dungarees has got me all flustered, in a good way of course. I never thought I’d live to see the day that I would actually want to wear a pair. Yet, here I am blogging about my new found love for them. Here are three different ways to style them:
For this first look, I’ve paired these polka-dot dungarees from Asos with some high top Converse and a slouchy white tee for a more laid back look. This outfit is ideal for any date that involves a lot of walking, like at a theme park or zoo, or just general errand running. For hair and make up, I would do a fish tail braid and neutral make up with a nude or pink link (or a coral red lip to dress the face up a little more).
These acid wash dungarees from River Island are perfect for dressing up and dressing down. For this outfit, I went with a more sophisticated look by pairing the it with a black and white crop top and black zara heels to elongate the legs. I’ve also paired this outfit with red accessories to liven it up. For makeup and hair, I would go for a smokey eyed look with a matte red lip with a high sock bun or relaxed waves with a black boater hat.

I imagined a chilled summer’s eve when I came up with this last look. I wanted to keep this floral print skater skirt dungaree as the statement piece of this look so I paired it with this sleeveless, fitted, turtle neck crop top and gold and black accessories. I also threw in a pair of suspender tights to add in just a bit more spice to this outfit. For hair and makeup I would go with either soft waves or straight hair with an earthy tone palette and a deep plum lipstick.
Happy styling!
xoxo
