Summer Swimwear Guide- Our Picks for July!

Red, white, and blue is in the sky, summer’s in the air and our swim picks have arriiiived! (To the tune of Lana Del Rey’s “National Anthem”, of course.) In these last few weeks of June, things have really been sizzling up – and what better way to celebrate the heat wave than channeling your inner Ms. Del Rey and putting on heart-shaped sunglasses, fruit punch lips, and (obvi) your cutest swim getup? The classic triangle bikini and the ever-flattering bandeau are always a go-to, but with new trends in swimwear this season, the possibilities are endless! Vintage varieties such a high-waisted bottoms and corset-style tops are a blast from the past – and their structure can be used to your advantage to flatter your body! The high waist style bottom accentuates small waistlines and is great for giving curves to boyish body types, while the underwire in the corset tops provides support to larger chested girls, too. No wonder vintage always comes back in style! For smaller chested girls, the flowy bikini top, such as our pick from Urban Outfitters (#2), gives added volume around the bust and contrasts the waist. An added bonus? Throw on some cute cutoff shorts and it doubles as an adorable crop top! The last fad that is BACK is one-pieces: from the old-fashioned, Marilyn Monroe styles to the skin-tight 90’s type suits, one-pieces are always an unexpected go-to that will set you apart from the crowd. No matter your pick, make sure you stay cool, look even cooler, and soak up that sweet summer sun!
