Several Christian denominations celebrate Lent, with each having its own practices. Lent is the 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter and is typically a time of reflection and sacrifice. Holy Week is the final stretch of this season, and those at Marquette who participate in it may need support to finish strong or share their journey.

Marquette’s annual Nieman Symposium was held on Friday, March 28 and featured award- winning journalist Catherine Gicheru as the keynote speaker. The Symposium consisted of two panel discussions previewing the keynote. This year's theme was “Voices of Resilience: Journalism in the Face of Conflict and Contemporary Politics.”

Now two years since its closing, Sobelman’s continues to serve Milwaukeeans at its original location. The restaurant, built in 1999, sits tucked away behind the dome that covers Valley Fields during the wintertime, isolating it from the view of a campus which it once called home.
