Devi Shastri
Devi is the special projects editor at the Wire. She is a senior majoring in biomedical sciences and journalism with a minor in neuroscience. She aspires to be a science writer. She has formerly worked at the Wire as the health and science reporter and as an investigative reporter. Outside of the newsroom, she's worked on two teams for the O'Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism, the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service and Science Magazine in Washington D.C. When she's not out looking for the next big story, you can find her traveling, sipping good wines, reading the New Yorker and attempting to cook.
