Kent Beausoleil appointed as MUPD chaplain

It was announced on Oct. 12 that the Rev. Kent Beausoleil, associate dean of student development and pastoral minister for Schroeder Hall, will take the position. His start date has not been determined.

The Marquette Interchange, and Wisconsin Avenue will undergo construction beginning in the fall of 2017.
The two students involved in the situation are in the College of Engineering.

College of Engineering offers enrollment to middle school students

The agreement is to offer graduating middle school students this enrollment contingent on their academic success in high school. The university announced it would partner with the charter school in a news brief last June.

Biomedical engineering treadmill offers chance to study human balance

The six degrees of freedom treadmill, part of a pilot project in the Human Performance Lab, is used to study human balance. It's run by biomedical engineering professor Brian Schmit. It's used by Erika Zabre, a graduate student in the College of Engineering, and Jacob Van Dehy, a senior in the College of Engineering.

One Love Foundation trains sorority about domestic violence

The One Love Foundation was founded in 2010 in honor of Yeardly Love, a University of Virginia senior who was beaten to death by her ex-boyfriend three weeks before graduating. It works with schools around the country to reduce relationship violence and raise awareness.
