From highway to high art: Digital Billboard Art Month covers MKE

For the next ten days Milwaukee's highways will become a gallery and billboards will serve as the art. Exploring the billboard as a venue for something more prestigous than a law firm or a fast food rest stop ad, 18 of the street-side signs will be taken over by Milwaukee's best local artists. The original artwork will be digitally displayed to simultaneously promote organizations, museums and clubs, as well as the artists themselves.
