College Cuisine: Pasta Bake Using Leftovers

This week we’re talking noodles. And since summer has come and gone and Turkey day is upon us, we’re not talking pool noodles. How about something warm, comforting and easy.

This pasta dish is so simple it’s almost too easy. All you’ll need are a few things:

    • Leftover pasta (I had boiled  a bunch of penne noodles earlier in the week)
    • 2 eggs (depending on how much pasta you have)
    • 1/4 cup of milk
    • shredded cheese
    • salt & pepper
    • optional: pasta sauce

Start with your pasta in a baking pan.

Mix together your egg, milk and half of your shredded cheese.

Add your egg mixture to your pan.

Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes.

Just before it’s finished, add the rest of your cheese, salt & pepper to the top and cook until bubbly.

And you’re done! I served mine with a little pasta sauce, but you can leave it out if you want.

I hope you guys enjoy this simple, easy and tasty pasta dish as an alternative to just noodles and sauce. It’s so simple and can take those leftover noodles to another level.

Happy cooking and enjoy your Thanksgiving!
