Marquette announced Monday that the campus Bublr Bike station will be located near Parking Lot A behind McCormick Hall.

Lot A is located at 1515 W. Wells St., which is close to the Weasler Auditorium and Alumni Memorial Union. The bike sharing station will be put in place during the first week of April, according to a university news brief. This is about a month later than was originally planned.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 14 to celebrate the station’s opening. It will be led by University President Michael Lovell and will include a blessing of the bikes and a community bike ride to the Global Water Center.

Marquette Student Government unanimously voted last semester to bring a Bublr Bike station to campus. It will have 17 to 19 docks with blue and gold bikes.
