Milwaukee police are investigating an incident near the intersection of 17th and State streets that witnesses said was a drive-by shooting causing a driver to crash into a tree late Friday night.
Police said that the victim, a 31-year-old man, was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries and that no one has been taken into custody.
