DPS reports, April 7-10

April 7, 2011

At 12:38 p.m., a person not affiliated with the university acted in a disorderly manner in the Dental School, and was detained by the Department of Public Safety. The Milwaukee Police Department took the suspect into custody.

At 8:05 p.m., a student reported observing a person not affiliated with the university pulling on vehicle door hands in a rear lot in the 900 block of North 15th Street. DPS located the subject and detained him after further questioning. The subject was taken into custody by MPD and cited for prowling and loitering.

April 8

At 11:18 a.m., DPS officers found a student in possession of a false ID in Structure One.

April 9

At 4:23 a.m., it was reported that between Fri., April 8 at 10:30 p.m. and Sat., April 9 at 4:23 a.m., an unknown person(s) vandalized university property in Campus Town East, causing an estimated $50 in damage. Facilities Services was contacted.

At 11:43 p.m., DPS observed via camera between 11:43 and 11:46 p.m., several unidentified subject carrying a keg of beer into Campus Town West. All of the subjects were of legal drinking age. The coordinator for university apartments was notified.

April 10

At 7:01 p.m., an employee reported that unknown person(s) vandalized university property in McCormick Hall. DPS officers observed that a water fountain on the third floor had been forcibly removed from the wall, and a doorknob across the hall was missing. Estimated damage is $250. The investigation is pending. Facilities Services was contacted.

At 5:27 p.m., a person not affiliated with Marquette acted in a disorderly manner in a business in the 1600 block of West Wells Street, and was taken into custody by MPD.
