DPS Report: March 17-20

March 17

At 10:05 p.m., the Milwaukee Police Department observed three individuals not affiliated with Marquette prowling in an alley in the 1400 block of West Kilbourn Avenue. The Department of Public Safety was called to assist MPD in checking vehicles in the alley. No vehicles were found to be damaged, and MPD cited the suspects for prowling and loitering.

March 18

At 8:56 a.m., a student reported that between 3:30 a.m. and 8:50 a.m., an unknown person(s) forcibly entered her secured, unattended vehicle in the 700 block of North 22nd Street and removed property estimated at $160. Estimated damage to the vehicle is $250. MPD was contacted.

At 9:04 a.m., a student reported that between 7:03 a.m. and 7:07 a.m., an unknown person(s) forcibly entered her secured, unattended vehicle in the 2000 block of West Wells Street and removed property estimated at $100. Estimated damage to the vehicle is $150. MPD was contacted.

March 20

At 4:14 p.m., two students reported that between Tuesday, March 15th at 4:14 p.m. and Saturday, March 19 at 4:26 p.m., an unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti on the exterior of their residence in the 900 block of North 15 Street, causing an estimated $200 in damage. MPD was contacted.

At 9:31 p.m., a student reported that between 7:32 p.m. and 7:36 p.m., an unknown person(s) removed her secured, unattended vehicle in the 900 block of North 15 Street. The estimated loss is $3,650. MPD was contacted.
