DPS Reports 10/11

Oct. 6

At 1:57 p.m., it was reported that a former student reported being sexually assaulted by a student acquaintance at an off-campus location between 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on May 14. The Milwaukee Police Department was contacted.

Oct. 7

At 1 p.m., it was reported that earlier that morning a 43-year-old, intoxicated graduate student acted in a disorderly manner in Raynor Library. He was seen acting in a strange manner and speaking with incoherent sentences. He was told he was not allowed to be intoxicated in Raynor and was sent home.

Oct. 8

At 8:27 a.m., a university employee reported that unknown person(s) placed a sticker on a university phone in Johnston Hall.

Oct. 9

At 11:54 a.m., an 18-year-old student was found to be in possession of a false driver’s license. The student had lost his wallet, and while the Department of Public Safety attempted to identify whom the wallet belonged to, the fake license was uncovered. The student admitted to using the license to purchase alcohol, and it was confiscated.

At 12:24 a.m., a 21-year-old student’s secure bike was stolen outside of Abbottsford Hall. DPS observed, on camera, another student taking the bike, valued at $1,200. The bike was recovered, and the victim did not want to pursue charges.
