Feb. 9

At 8:36 p.m., a male student reported being in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend in their apartment building in the 2000 block of Wisconsin Avenue. During the confrontation, the woman picked up a textbook and throw it at the man’s head. She then began to pick up other items and threw them around the room. The woman also took the man’s laptop before leaving his apartment and going to her apartment in the same building. When DPS officers spoke to the woman, she said she and her boyfriend had been having a fight about homework issues, which caused the altercation. She claimed he hit her on the arm with an open hand. The laptop was recovered and returned. Both parties declined Milwaukee Police Department assistance.
