DPS Reports 12/3/09

Nov. 30

At 8:35 p.m., Department of Public Safety officers were sent to McCormick Hall after a suspicious odor was reported on the fourth floor. Officers knocked on the door of the room where the smell emanated, and three male students there admitted to smoking. Officers obtained a Ziploc bag with a green, leafy substance, a glass pipe from a student’s desk drawer and an empty bottle of rum. The Milwaukee Police Department was contacted, and the substance and pipe were confiscated. One 18-year-old male resident claimed ownership of those items, and was charged with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
