DPS Reports 10/29

Oct. 26
At 9:30 a.m., DPS officers met with a student who claimed to be the victim of fraud. The student reported he lost his wallet while parking his vehicle last week. After losing his wallet, the student said his bank called to alert him that his card had been used at a fuel pump. The bank returned the funds to his account and canceled his card. Milwaukee Police Department assistance was declined.

At 4:55 p.m., DPS officers met with a student who reported theft from her secured, unattended vehicle. The vehicle was broken into and a GPS unit and an iPod transmitter were stolen. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $270. MPD was contacted and a report was filed.

Oct. 27
At 12:25 a.m., a student reported that she lost her MUID in the Alumni Memorial Union and it had been used without her consent. The unknown person(s) had used MarquetteCASH on the card to purchase various items. DPS is investigating.
