At 10:50 p.m., a resident assistant on the ninth floor of Schroeder Hall noticed a bulletin board had been forcibly removed from a wall on his wing. The RA moved the board into his room for safe keeping.
Sept. 20
At 2:30 a.m., an RA on the second floor of Schroeder Hall noticed a bulletin board had been placed outside her door. After moving the bulletin board inside her room for safe keeping, the RA determined the board was forcibly removed from a wall on the fourth floor.
Sept. 21
At 9:20 p.m., Department of Public Safety officers were dispatched to meet with students on the second floor of McCormick Hall after an RA reported a possible theft. Officers met with a student who said 20 pairs of undergarments, valued at $150, had been removed from her room. The student’s friend also reported that her cell phone, which was left in the room, was missing. The student who lives in the room reported her roommate was in the room with friends at the time of the supposed theft and that the two had been having disagreements. DPS is still investigating.
Sept. 22
At 8:54 p.m., DPS was called to the Alumni Memorial Union after a female student employee reported her unsecured, unattended property had been stolen from the dish room at Marquette Place. The student lost her purse, MUID, lanyard, key and a pack of cigarettes. The loss is estimated at $35.
