At 9:01 p.m., a 21-year-old female student reported that an unknown person removed her unsecured, unattended laptop estimated at $1,200 from the Lynch Lounge in the Alumni Memorial Union. The Department of Public Safety has a possible suspect captured on video surveillance, and MPD was contacted.

At 12:48 a.m., a 19-year-old male student provided false information to MPD during an investigation in Abbottsford Hall. Another resident in Abbottsford reported the student to MPD, saying it appeared the student had a gun. After questioning, the gun was determined to be a paint gun, but that the student provided a false name to MPD during questioning. The student was cited by MPD for resisting and obstructing an officer and was released.
