The student said the money was removed around 7 p.m. on Nov. 7, and she then confronted the suspect. The student said the suspect then admitted he took the money, but has not yet returned it to her. The Milwaukee Police Department was contacted.
At 5:59 p.m., a 49-year-old female student reported that an unknown person forcibly entered her secured, unattended car in the 1700 block of West Wells Street causing an estimated $250 in damage. The suspect also removed property. The estimated loss is unknown at this time. MPD assistance was declined.
At 6:40 p.m., a 26-year-old female student reported that an unknown person entered her secured, unattended car in the 500 block of North 18th Street through unknown means and caused an estimated $100 in damage to the car. Property valued at $240 was also removed, and included a dashboard CD player and a six-CD set. MPD was contacted.
