At 1:20 p.m., a 22-year-old female student reported that an unknown person removed items from her backpack valued at $35 from Marquette Hall. The student left her backpack on a desk in an unattended office between 5:20 p.m. and 9 p.m. Milwaukee Police Department assistance was declined.

At 5:01 p.m., a male student reported that two unknown people attempted to remove his secured, unattended car in the 800 block of North 18th Street. Another student who knew the owner witnessed the two suspects prying off the car's ignition cover, valued at $50. The witness told the owner about the incident, and when they returned to the vehicle, the suspects had fled from the scene. MPD assistance was declined.
