I am president of Colleges Against Cancer and am writing to express my disappointment that Marquette's second annual Relay For Life was absolutely nowhere to be found in Tuesday's paper.
The Tribune, up until this point, has been very supportive of our event as far as promotion and for that I thank you.
Unfortunately, Tuesday's paper has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I was very happy to hear about the soccer team and Hoops for Hope doing the good that they did, but once again, where was Relay?
Having raised $53,000 for the American Cancer Society and bringing together over 500 Marquette students and faculty in a celebration of hope I feel that deserves at least a sentence of recognition.
