At 2:54 p.m., a 22-year-old male student reported that an unknown person smashed the right front passenger window of his secured, unattended 1996 Dodge. An AM/FM CD player and $5 in coins were removed from the car parked in the 900 block of North 16th Street. The estimated damage to the car is $300. Milwaukee police assistance was declined.
At 3:02 p.m., a 22-year-old female student reported that an unknown person smashed the front driver's side window of her 1999 Toyota in the 900 block of North 16th Street. The estimated damage is $183. MPD assistance was declined.
Feb. 6
At 12:08 a.m., a 46-year-old man not affiliated with Marquette was loitering in the Union Sports Annex. The man told DPS officers he would have to be forcefully removed. DPS convinced the man go to the lobby, where he refused to leave. MPD was contacted and took the man into custody where he was cited for trespassing.
At 6:15 p.m., a 52-year-old man not affiliated with Marquette was consuming alcohol in Gesu Church. MPD was contacted, cited the man for trespassing and transported him to a detox center.
