Regional population growth suggests that a high school near the Washington County Fair Park in West Bend could serve at least 600 students from surrounding counties, said spokeswoman Kathleen Hohl.
WEST BEND (AP) The Milwaukee Roman Catholic Archdiocese is considering building a new Catholic high school for the first time in nearly 50 years.
Regional population growth suggests that a high school near the Washington County Fair Park in West Bend could serve at least 600 students from surrounding counties, said spokeswoman Kathleen Hohl.
The proposed high school would be built on land that may be donated by a family that proposed the project to Archbishop Timothy Dolan, Hohl said. But she declined to name the potential donor or to specify the parcel's exact location.
