Jon Bartlett, Daniel Masarik and Andrew Spengler, who already have been suspended by Milwaukee Police Department Chief Nan Hegerty, are charged with substantial battery, party to a crime. Bartlett and Masarik also have been charged with second-degree reckless endangering of safety, among other charges.

According to Jude's attorney and witnesses, Jude was threatened with a knife and kicked in the head by the individuals.
