In addition to offering the recently approved Master of Arts in Christian doctrine degree in the fall, Marquette is also looking into offering a master's in leadership studies. The degree in Christian doctrine, coinciding with the faith pillar in Marquette's mission statement, will provide knowledge and understanding of the church in order to help educate theology teachers in Catholic schools. The degree in leadership studies is still pending approval from the Board of Trustees. The degree is aimed for the fall, with about 25 students already interested.
