This is Ross's second presentation at Marquette. In February, he spoke on the prospects of Israeli-Palestinian peace.
For more than 12 years, Ross worked to bring peace to the Middle East as a representative of both the first George Bush and Bill Clinton's administrations. He helped in assisting Israelis and Palestinians reach the 1995 interim agreement, successfully brokered the Hebron Accord in 1997, facilitated the 1994 Israel-Jordan peace treaty, and worked closely on Israeli-Syrian peace negotiations.
