The anti-abortion display is part of "Week for Life," which highlights several "life issues" on campus. Monday, Pamela Cleereman Goris, who earned a graduate degree at Marquette in 1991, gave a speech entitled "Abortion: a Feminist's Point of View." The speech was sponsored by Students for Life and Democrats for Life.
On Thursday, Eric Reeves of the English department at Smith College in Northampton, Mass., will discuss genocide in Sudan. The event is sponsored by the Arab Student Association and 9 other organizations.
