Guess who’s back (back, back), back again (-gain, -gain), Elle’s blog’s back (back, back), tell a friend (no, seriously, tell a friend).
Ladies and gents, after a brief hiatus, I have returned! And what better way to return than offering you ladies (and hey, some of you dudes too — you can take some fashion advice from these fine men!) some serious eye candy courtesy of…YOUR…MILWAUKEEEE BUCKS! (cue some Jock Jams)
These lovely gents posed in their Sunday best for something called the “MMAC Luncheon” — and I’m not actually sure what it stands for but I’d like to think it’s “Milwaukee Men Acting Cool” — all I know is I’m not complaining.
*wipes up pile of drool next to laptop*
(Note: According to my woman on the inside it was for a luncheon with their corporate sponsors to kick off the year and introduce the players.)
Tonight’s starting lineup (in my heart) would be:
1. At guard, the 6-3 cutie from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Brandon-nnn Knight!
Considering he’s the closest in age to me (we’re both 21), I’d say I have the best chance with him. Call me, Brandon?
2. At forward, the 6-10 hunk from Eskisehir, Turkey, Ersan-nnn Ilyasova-aaaaa!
They refer to him as the “Turkish Thunder”. It’s too easy to make a “thunder” joke here so instead I’ll leave you with, “Hey, Ersan, 7 is my lucky number!” 😉
3. At center-forward, the 6-11 player who I originally thought was of Spanish descent given his name but is really from some other European country, *takes a deep breath* Zaza-aaaaa Pachulia-aaaa!
This man comes from the far away land of Georgia (the country, not the state) and has the most wonderful name I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing.
4. At center, the 6-11 giant from Port St. Lucie, Florida, Larry-yyyyy Sanders!
Those pants…those shoes… Also, this man is the proud papa of the cutest little boy I’ve ever seen in my life (don’t believe me? Just check out Larry’s instagram). If you ever need a babysitter, Larry, please don’t hesitate to call.
5. And finally, at guard-forward, the 6-9 baby-faced Greek Freak and owner of the most difficult last name ever, Giannis-sss Antetokounmpo!
At 18 years old, Giannis was the youngest player to be drafted this year…I’m glad he is indeed 18 years old and that legally I am allowed to include him in tonight’s lineup.
As for the rest of the Bucks, don’t despair, you all looked wonderful!
You beautiful gentlemen were the epitome of what I’d imagine a GQ shoot to look like.
Although Carlos Delfino appears to be missing something…
(Just kidding, I know he’s currently injured)
…and Luke Ridnour looks like a little boy in his father’s suit.
(you make a lot of money, boy, find a tailor!)
I can’t wait to see some of these beautiful men on the court this year.
If you want to see larger versions of the pictures (and who wouldn’t?), check out what the Milwaukee Bucks posted here.
Also, if these pictures aren’t enough (they’re not, I know you want to see more of these fine gentlemen), I’ve included the video shot by my woman on the inside that captured some of the behind-the-scenes action. Enjoy (and Go Bucks Go)!
