Finding something to do on a Saturday afternoon to alleviate the wait until you go out later that night can be brutal. With low money, low energy, and low patience for wasting time limiting the options, you find yourself looking to the city for answers.  You wonder what lies beyond campus lines deep into the abyss of bank buildings, hotels, and public landmarks that tower over the city.

That’s where I try to help.

The rationale behind this blog came from myself being hindered by these same set of limitations. My goal is to give readers the opportunity to experience the history, culture, and peculiar landmarks that the Milwaukee has to offer while staying affordable and within 20 blocks of Johnston Hall.

Hopefully you can apply the information I present over the next few months and grow to love the city as much as I do.
