A popular print that has recently been noticed are the variations of Hawaiian paradise. Luckily, with summer drawing to a close, outfits embellished with this print can wrap up your ‘vacation’.
Variations of the Hawaiian print are a little more modern and graphic than the traditional floral. It gives off a brighter and perhaps a less feminine appeal. I was really intrigued by a lot of the designs in the Resort 2014 collections.
Polynesian patterns vamp up the forever ongoing floral that we’re all accustomed too. Overlooking Fausto Puglisi, Jason Wu and Prada Resort/Spring 2014, I want to incorporate some Hawaiian prints into my wardrobe.
Fausto Puglisi:
Graphic Hawaiian print embellishment on a flared dress.
Intricate bondage top with a graphic Hawaiian flared skirt.
Bold graphic Hawaiian print maxi with an elegant high neckline.
Modern and sleek graphic wrap skirt with an elegant high neckline.
Jason Wu:
Graphic Hawaiian set with paired with the classic trench gives a distressed effect.
The leather bag brings a versatile effect to this graphic look and can be carried throughout seasons.
Prada:
The design on this A-line skirt is so predictable that it works.
Hey, it even looks cool in menswear.

Looks for less:
I’m more than certain that this blogger got her Hawaiian shirt from a thrift/resale shop. Which luckily, anyone can do. Incorporate it with your own style and get creative. She paired it with a navy neutral Brandy Melville dress that let the graphic shirt be the statement piece of the dress.
Same here.

Beyoncé’s collection also has a few graphic/landscape Hawaiian pieces that are quite tropical. They can be found at H&M.

And if you’re an avid vintage lover like I am……………………..
Pinup Girl Clothing has great prints that are wearable and give you some va-va-voom.
Malibu Tiki dress with matching bolero.
The bold print of this bustier is toned down with the tailored trousers.
This bold set reminds me of something Solange Knowles would wear actually. And of course, a pin up girl!
