Blistering heat, frustrating humidity, and blinding sun. Yup, we’re in the peak of summer. With half of the summer gone and the hottest months quickly approaching, staying protected and stylish is becoming a hand-in-hand combo.
The sun’s UV rays are powerful and can cause some serious damage. Luckily, sunglasses and hats work as perfect protection and great fashion accessories. Picking out the right shape and style make it tricky, but don’t be afraid to experiment and try different shapes and colors.
Circle-shaped and cat eye glasses are making a strong comeback and the vintage look adds to a great summer outfit. If you don’t think you can pull off a certain shape, don’t worry. Stores are offering more and more options to suit every face shape. If a circular shape doesn’t work, try more of a square frame with circle glass. Just keep experimenting and try everything. As for color, black is not your only option. Whether you’re a bucket, panama, baseball, or cowboy hat kind of person, pairing up a summer romper (or whatever you’re wearing) with the right hat can set your style apart and protect your skin. Buying a few (or even just one) simple hat to match your style saves you money … and closet space. And it never hurts to have a cute hat to cover up a bad hair day.
