Marquette coach Terri Mitchell announced the signing of guards JeTaun Rouse and McKayla Yentz to National Letters of Intent today.

Both Rouse and Yentz will join the Golden Eagles in 2013 and have four years of eligibility.

“We are excited to add JeTaun and McKayla to our team,” Mitchell said.  “They are women of high character who come from great families.  We know their impact will not only be on the basketball court, but in all they do at Marquette.”

Rouse, a 5-foot-9 Tinley Park, Ill., native, is listed as the No. 50 overall prospect by ESPN HoopGurlz recruiting rankings and No. 13 at her position.

Rouse averaged 13 points and three assists per game as a junior and was named the Catholic Conference MVP and helped Marist to a 32-2 record. She also earned Chicago Tribune third team All-State honors.

Yentz, a 6-foot-1 Sun Prairie, Wis., native, has earned multiple All-Big 8 Conference honors and was named first team all-area as a junior.
